• Claude

  Web, Desktop and mobile

  1. On claude.ai or in Claude Desktop, open Customize › Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
  2. Name it Modern Evidence, paste the server URL, and choose Add.
  3. Choose Connect, sign in, and Allow.
  4. In a chat, select + › Connectors to use Modern Evidence. The connector is also available on mobile.

  Free plans support one custom connector. For Team or Enterprise, an owner must add it in Organization settings › Connectors before members can connect.

• Claude Code

  Terminal

  1. Add the server:

     claude mcp add --transport http modern-evidence --scope user https://modernevidence.com/mcp

  2. Run /mcp, select modern-evidence, and complete sign-in in your browser.

  If you use the same Claude account, connectors added on claude.ai are also available in Claude Code.

• VS Code

  GitHub Copilot

  1. Run MCP: Add Server from the Command Palette and choose HTTP.
  2. Paste the server URL, enter modern-evidence as its ID, and choose where to save it.
  3. When the server starts, sign in using the browser window VS Code opens.

  For Copilot Business or Enterprise, an admin must enable the MCP servers in Copilot policy.

• ChatGPT

  Web

  1. Open Plugins, choose +, then Add custom MCP server.
  2. Name it Modern Evidence and paste the server URL. For authentication, choose OAuth with Dynamic Client Registration.
  3. Select I understand and want to continue, then choose Create as a plugin.
  4. Install the plugin and sign in. In a chat, type @ to select Modern Evidence.

  Available on Pro, Business, Enterprise, and Edu. A workspace admin must add and publish the plugin.
